Ze hebben wel subliem werk geleverd. Ik ben heel erg onder de indruk van wat ik heb gezien.
Een alternatief voor de resin brug is trouwens de M48 AVLB van DAS WERK (ofwel DRAGON): voor een luizige € 80,-
Maar wie het goed wil doen, kiest echt voor de resin variant. @Marcel van Hobe heeft de brug goed onderzocht en ontdekte dat de brug van DAS WERK te smal is.
En houd tenslotte rekening met een Centurion Mk.3 onderstel, koopje € 50,- !

Niet superneu want al uitgebracht in 2023 (en hier ook al vermeld misschien?) maar voor mij wel want ik wist niet van het bestaan van
deez bouwdoos dus toch maar even hier rondbazuinen voor wie anders misschien spijt als dozen op zolder zou krijgen wanneer er een
reguliere Tijger 1 wordt aangeschaft en men er dan achter komt dat één met interieur toch de voorkeur zou hebben gehad tijdens de
aankoop besluitvorming mits men iets af had geweten van het bestaan daarvan... 🤐

Ik zit me net te realiseren dat AFV club een relatief breed aanbod heeft van modellen, die andere fabrikanten niet uitbrengen. Is het een merk voor beginners, nee. Maar bouwkwaliteit in combinatie met detaillering zijn in mijn ogen goed. En de maatvoering, verhoudingen eveneens. Ik denk dat we ze niet moeten onderwaarderen.
Ik bedoel geen extra discussie in dit onderwerp, maar wilde deze gedachte, vaststelling even delen.

Wat betreft het moderne spul ben ik erg tevreden over AFV Club. Bouwt goed weg. Wel wat nabewerking nodig op punten. Goede details maar niet tot in het overdrevene zoals bij sommige andere merken. Soms wat vreemde keuzes zoals de vering bij de Centurion …maar ieder merk slaat wel eens door.

Ik wist het ook niet tot ik een Dragon Sd.Kfz. 251 bouwde en iemand erop wees. Ik vond er binnenin al wel wat weinig voetenruimte lijken te zitten.
