Sherman Mk 3

Hello everyone,

It's been a long time since I posted anything. I've managed to get some paint work done with a quick bulid of Dragon's Sherman Mk 3, a vehicle that saw action in Sicily to Italy 1943. The black camouflage are hand painted with acrylics with a coat of gloss clear added over the model. I added subtle modulation on this, giving this technique a go. Although the effect is not apparent in the photos, the modulation effect may be lost further in the weathering stages. I hope to post some photos of the weathering in the next post.

Hi Julian,

Boy, that's been a long time! I love this one. The camouflage is neat and the modulation too. It could have been more dramatic, but subtle weathering might preserve it.

Any thoughts on a crew or scene?

awsome Sherman 😱 Very nice paintjob sofar and i agree with Martin D. :
Go easy on the weathering. I think too, that the lighteffects will remain that way.
I will keep track of this one 😱
